The first Rumble in Delano Car Show was a tremendous success with over 125 cars & motorcycles entered. The weather was perfect with temperatures near 90, clear skies and a slight breeze.
The cars began arriving shortly after 5:00, with the crowd not far behind. When the show started at 7:00 the streets were full of cars and people. Police estimated the crowd to be about 4,300.
Beautiful handcrafted trophies were awarded in 8 categories:

The 2nd Annual Rumble in Delano was a great success - in spite of having to shut it down a half an hour early due to weather. There were 147 entries in the show and an unofficial crowd count is about 6,000. People loved the addition of the bands and the live pin-up girls caused quite a stir!

The Rumble in Delano Car Show was again a huge success! There were over 100 Pre-1963 cars, hotrods, trucks and motorcycles to feast your eyes on. Several thousand spectators were walking the Douglas strip to look at the unique entries and chat with the owners about their ride. Food and beverage vendors were set up so no one would go hungry or thirsty. Bands played all evening on the stage set up at the clock tower and dancers from Amira Dance Studio were entertaining the crowds. Over 25 pin up girls competed for the "Best Pin Up" contest.
