Welcome to Historic Delano, one of Wichita's oldest neighborhoods.

Delano sprang up as a cowtown at the end of the Chisholm Trail and quickly gained a reputation as a place where trail-weary cowboys could take their rest and recreation in the many saloons and brothels.

Today Delano is home to dozens of unique shops, art galleries and restaurants. Visit on the 2nd Saturday of each month and receive discounts on your purchases.

Nightlife includes events like the Thursday Night Pub Pedal, the First Friday Music Crawl and the Final Friday Art Crawl.

St. Patrick's Day in Delano Saturday, March 17, 2012 We are planning a whole day of fun in Delano for St. Patrick's Day. The 6th Annual St. Patrick's Parade will be held at noon, with plenty of other activities planned before and after the parade.
